SITE SAFETY AWARDS
The Master Builders Site Safety Awards provide contractors with an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their commitment to fulfilling statutory Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements on projects.
Entries are judged by both Master Builders specialist staff and SafeWork NSW representatives. To be eligible, projects must be under construction.

David Solomon David boasts an impressive 36-year career in the Building & Construction Industry, marked by his unwavering commitment to safety and excellence. As a "Fellow" and two-time recipient of the ISQEM Safety Award in 2015 and 2016, David's dedication has earned him a prestigious role as an ISQEM International Director. In 2024 David was recognised an Exemplar Global Honouree by the auditing community, Winner Iconic Category by the Workplace Health and Safety Show and Winner Excellence Award- The Crane Industry Council of Australia (CICA) Oct 2024. His influence extends beyond accolades, as David played a pivotal role in MBA NSW, receiving the 2021 SafeWork NSW Association's category award. He was also a finalist in the 2022 SafeWork NSW WHS Excellence Showcase Awards, recognized for his department's dedication to Covid-19 awareness. David's contributions to Standards Australia are equally noteworthy. He serves as Chairman of the Occupational Health and Safety Management Committee, International Head of Delegation, and Convenor of the ISO 45004 Working Group, responsible for a new international Standard for OH&S Performance Evaluation published March 14, 2024. Additionally, he holds a directorship on the board of the Crane Industry Council of Australia and regularly lends his expertise to review safety and technical documentation for State and National Government departments. David's leadership and unwavering focus on safety set a high standard in the industry. |

Jeff Adams Jeff has been an Inspector with SafeWork NSW for over six years, bringing extensive industry knowledge and experience to his role. He has led numerous safety initiatives in the construction sector, including projects focused on scaffolding safety (Scaff Safe), electrical safety, and moving plant. Jeff has also served in specialist teams, where he managed key portfolios such as hazardous noise, confined spaces, remote or isolated work, and occupational diving. His deep understanding of workplace risks and regulations is pivotal in working with customers to ensure every worker goes home safe at the end of each day. |

Rory Wilkinson Rory has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry and has spent the last six years as an Inspector with SafeWork NSW’s Construction team. With a trade background in Carpentry and Joinery, Rory brings hands-on expertise across both residential and commercial construction. His industry experience also includes manufacturing with timber and steel, giving him a well-rounded perspective on construction safety and practices. |

Our elite panel of judges are chosen by Master Builders Association of NSW to review and score every entry that is submitted. Our judging panel are selected for their professional and wide-ranging level of expertise.
